Tomorrow is the big day! I have been putting on the finishing touches to the container gardens and if I do say so myself... they look darned good! My airplants arrived today and I am thrilled! They are as beautiful and exotic as the pictures described. Now I know I must order at least a month before I need them.

If you live in Orange or LA County and want something to do... stop by the Mercantile Market at Carpe Diem Experience, Fullerton , CA. The address is 115 South Harbor Blvd. The vendors are in the parking lot in back of the store. I of course will be selling my containter gardens and there will be other fantastic vendors too... lots will be hand-made from the artists. Hope to see you there!

Have a fun weekend and don't forget to laugh out loud!

Sunday Funnies!

The outdoor market was a success. There were not as many vendors and customers as I hoped, but I made a profit and I am happy. I also got a lead for a festival in La Habra, called the Avocado Festival, May 22nd. I will call tomorrow to sign up. Meanwhile I bought more plants and I am having fun with them. I really am excited because one of the reasons we moved down here was so I could have my own business and selling at outdoor markets is a start!
I have been practising the techinques in the book "You Can Heal Your Life" and I really believe it is working. I am changing my thoughts and manifesting what I want not what I do not want. I must admit there are some days that are more challenging than others. I am still working on this job thing. The chiropractor is not giving me nearly as much work as I thought... John says that maybe I am really not supposed to be working there and to focus on my business. I wish I could find a part time job Monday through Friday though... I would feel more secure. But I do not want to dwell on that and focus on the positive and be thankful for what I have!
I really am lucky to have a supportive family!
I am thankful to have good health!
I am thankful I made a profit yesterday!
I am thankful to get information about the coming festival!
I am thankful I have a comfortable home!
Hope your weekend was full of laughter!

My car is packed and ready for tomorrow's mercantile fair. If you are in the area check it out. I will be at Lamb of God Church, 621 Sunkist Street, Anaheim. The fair runs 8-1 pm. I will be the 6 foot redhead selling fabulous goodies and of course some of my container gardens. Hope your weekend will be filled with laughter and fun adventures!

I almost forgot... Happy Earth Day! Shouldn't we honor Mother Earth everday? Have you noticed? She has been trying to get our attention these past few months...

I bought more plants today and put them in their new containers. Still no sign of my airplants... it has been over 2 weeks... ok only by a couple of days... but the suspense is killing me!
Hope your week is full of laughter and anticipation!

I went to the State Board of Equalization today and got my seller's permit. I figured I need to just do it and start signing up with these flea markets that I have been wanting to sell at. Yesterday's visit to the Long Beach flea market got me excited. There were lots of shoppers there and they were buying. It costs $5 to get in so I guess anyone willing to give up $5 from the start is serious about buying. Did I mention that I am selling at the Lamb of God church parking lot this Saturday? They are located in Anaheim. I will mention it again on Friday and give the address in case you are in the neighborhood. I ordered 35 air plants almost 2 weeks ago and I am excited about getting them. I have fun containers to put them in and will be selling them too... hopefully they arrive before Saturday. If not I do have several succulents ready to go.
Hope your day is succulent and full of laughter!

I am still thinking about the mercantile market that I sold at on Saturday. I met soooo many talented artists! I met this one woman who even was published in Bella Amoire Jewlery Magazine! I went home with one of her Frozen Charlotte Angel pendants. It looks very similar to the one pictured above. The doll also has an interesting history...
I also found her website/blog http://bellalunaarts.blogspot.com/
She also has a facebook page which lets you know where she will be

Mother's Day is next month... wouldn't she look great wearing one of Bella Luna's one of a kind jewlery pieces?
This weekend was action packed! Saturday, I sold at the Mercantile Flea Market in the Carpe Diem Experience parking lot (and I made a profit!)... Sunday I worked a 12 hour shift taking care of an 80 something, lovely woman (I still work at the caregiver agency but only when they need fill in work) and experienced the earth move under my feet... literally! There is nothing like an earthquake to remind you that Mother Nature is always in charge!

I didn't show up to the Mercantile Flea Mart Show until 8:20 am... we were supposed to set up between 8 and 10 am... I am used to working flea markets and the vendors are always lined up to go inside before the appointed time and is crowded... but this time I was the 2nd to arrive (those free spirited artists like to sleep in) and I got to choose my spot. Of course I picked the space that said "pursue your passion."

These are old cds that have reincarnated as refrigerator magnets. I sold 4 of them!
Hope your Easter weekend was abundant and you had lots of laughs with friends and family!
