I saw my surgeon today. It's been 2 weeks since my biopsy. As you know, he confirmed that I am cancer free, but the inside of my tush looks like a war zone. There is lots of scar tissue and the c-word attacked part of my muscles...which explains why I am visiting the bathroom between 10-15 times a day and night...actually on average, I use the bathroom 3 times a night, which interrupts my sleep. Anyway, doc says that my muscles may not function properly again, which means...colostomy bag. I wouldn't be honest if I said I wasn't disappointed...but I am alive and that's what is most important to me. We will know more in 3 months when I have my next appointment. xo Inge
